Meet Donna
Hey you!
Thanks for dropping in to find out more about us! We love that you took the time to do that, hopefully we will get to learn more about you too!
So what can I tell you about me?! Well I’m a hard-working business woman, a proud wife to my incredibly tolerant hubby and a privileged Mammy to my gorgeous little man, Kaleb. I live in the North East of England, right on the seaside which makes me feel so blessed on a daily basis and my favourite thing in the world, is just having the people that make my heart soar all around me in my cosy home, all eating, drinking and having a good old laugh.
Apart from trying to be the best possible female role-model so that my boy just gets that women are totally awesome, the other thing that drives me daily, is helping the incredible people who work with me, to change their life and discover who they can be...
It’s seriously the most awesome buzz when someone you’re working with has that real, ‘Aha!’ moment. When they realise that they’re actually getting in their own way and putting limits on what they want and what they can have. My life wasn’t always this incredible though…
See, I really know what it’s like to be the girl who tries to please everyone. My life lessons and experiences had been pretty brutal at times, so I really lost my own voice for a while. When I was 30, I came to a really critical point when I just couldn’t live in my own life any more. I was so miserable and I knew there had to be a better way. I started my own journey of discovery and I have never looked back. From then, I earned way more money, liked myself again and met the man of my dreams...then the cherry on the cake was our son! My blessings are so tummy-flipping.
I believe everyone can and should have that! I believe in the law of attraction and in abundance. Everyone has the right to love their life and more importantly - love themselves.
Fun Facts
When I was a little girl, I really wanted to be Mrs David Attenborough! Then I realised that you had to be good at science to become a vet. Sadly I’m really rubbish at science so that ended that dream. I also loved being on stage and was always in the school plays. Proper little show off and never really a wallflower!
I’m a super-fussy eater and always have been. I eat a lot more than I used to but there are some things I just can’t make friends with...for example, pork. Now don’t get me wrong, I love a bacon sandwich but I just cannot get to grips with pork in general. Funnily enough though, I was a vegetarian for about four years and it was ultimately the bacon sarnie that was my downfall…!
I love baking - I found this out when I was on maternity leave after having Kaleb. My husband used to jokingly ask if I would ever actually make anything from the cook books I usually just drooled over (How to be a Domestic Goddess being my fave!), so one day I did! Then I got really addicted and had to stop before everyone’s teeth fell out. Eat your heart out, Nigella..!
