Episode 8 - Life Lessons with Sandra Mackowiak

When you meet Sandra, you would never know from the beautiful, glowing, calm person in front of you, some of the difficulties she had in her family life as a little girl.  Originally born in Poland but then soon after moving to Germany, Sandra realised at an early age that her family was not altogether what everyone else seemed to experience at home. Her Father was an abusive alcoholic and with several failed escape attempts, Sandra recalls vividly what those experiences were like as a child when her Father would catch up with her, her Mother and her older Brother. She shares how this difficult upbringing full of guilt and lack of self-worth, affected her as she became a young woman and how she’s making sure her experiences are paid forward.
